Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem

Assalam o Alaikom wa Rahmat-u-Llah-i wa Barakatuhu

Mundair Sharif Syedan is a small village near Sahowala, Ugoki and Sambrial. It is situated between the two canals. The village was named, Mundair, on the cast of Hindus. One family among Gilani Syeds purchased the whole land and migrated here. They, later, called the people and gave them free houses to live there. Three villages were created and were named as:

1. Mundair Kalan (منڈیر کلاں) or Uchchey Mundair.

2. Mundair Khurd (منڈیر خُرد) or Niwey Mundair.

3. Mundair Kothey (منڈیر کوٹھے) .

That family of Gilani Syeds preached people Islam and lived there for few centuries. Many Auliya were raised among them. As Syed family created the village again, so it was named as Mundair Syedan. One day, a child born was named Ahmad Hussain. His grandfather (from mother’s side) told his daughter that you’ll give birth to a son. I am giving you my crown that you have to give to your son at a specific age. He died before the birth of Syed Ahmad Hussain Gilani (RA). Syed Ahmad Hussain’s life was a clear picture of the life of Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (Sal Allahau Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam). He was raised up as an orphan and at the specific age, his grandmother gave him that crown. He worked at several places. He used to work in day and pray at night. Whenever people came to knew that he was a Wali Allah, he left that place and went to some other place. A few of his KARAMAAT are mentioned in the books written on his biography. He was on the rank of Mehboobiyat and was the 17th Mehboob of the Worlds. Those 17 Mehboob are the 12 Imam and 14 Masoom (it include those 12 Imam) and 3 Mehboob:

1. Mehboob-e-Subhani Shaykh Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4793897751)

2. Mehboob-e-ilahi Khawaja Nizam-ud-Din

3. Mehboob-e-Zaat Syed Ahmad Hussain Gilani (1898-1961).

Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) took bayt on the hand of his maternal uncle Hazrat Syed Fateh Ali Shahbaz (RA). The shrine of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) is in the same village called Mundair Sharif Syedan. He lived all his life as Holy Prophet (SAWAW) lived. Even his height, colour, speed of travelling on earth, and age resembles with Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW). He used to say, “I’ll go into the house of mirrors and I’ll see you but you would not see me.” He passed away on 8th February 1961 i.e. 22nd Sh’aban. He was 63 years old. His URS is celebrated on every 22nd Sh’aban of the Islamic year. His Kunyat is Abu Muhammad due to the name of his first son.

After Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat, Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil Syed Muhammad Afzaal Ahmad Hussain Gilani (RA) became the Sajjada Nasheen of Darbaar-e-Aliya Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA), Mundair Sharif Syedan. Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil (RA) was the first among the four sons of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA). Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat loved him very much that people called him Mehboob-e-Khaas-e-Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) meaning the special beloved of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA). He was Sajjada Nasheen at Darbar Sharif for 4 decades. He was the best model for the Murideen for living the life in today’s world. Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil (RA) was the greatest servant of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) and I do not have any problem in stating that ‘Not a single person on the world, neither among the sons of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA), have served even resemblance to Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil’s service. After Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA), Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil (RA) never slept on a bed and used to sleep on the floor. He never backed the shrine of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA). He used to kiss his thumbs and touch them with his eyes and forehead whenever the name of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) occurred in front of him. He never called Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA)’s name but used to call him “Sarkaar” (Master) or “Mehraban” (Benevolent/Gracious/Beneficent). After Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA), he never went out for Mahafil or any kind of functions but a few (less than 10 or even 5) that are countable on fingers. He was born on 21st July 1926 and passed away on 20th March 1998 i.e. 20th Ziq’ad. His URS is celebrated on every 20th Ziq’ad of the Islamic year.

After Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil, Hazrat Syed Muhammad Mubarak Ali Gilani was announced as Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar-e-Aliya Dargah-e-Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) wa Hazrat Mehboob-e-Khaas (RA), Mundair Sharif Syedan. He is doing his job greatly under the presidency of Hazrat Syed Iqbal Ahmad Hussain Gilani. Hazrat Syed Iqbal Ahmad Gilani is the second son of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA). The third son of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) has also passed away in 2000. The fourth son of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat is Hazrat Syed Amjad Ali Amjad. Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA), Hazrat Sakhiy-e-Kamil (RA) and Hazrat Syed Muhammad Mubarak Ali Gilani, three of them, have not went to any kind of Islamic school for studies but when they speak, they seems like a qualified scholar. Sometimes, there are secrets in their speeches but never contrary to the teachings of Islam. Hazrat Sajjada Nasheen is promoting the mission of Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) and Hazrat Mehboob-e-Khaas (RA). The message given by Hazrat Syed Muhammad Mubarak Ali Gillani at ever place is the five-time prayer and Durood Sharif. Hazrat Mehboob-e-Zaat (RA) focused on Tauheed and Eshq-e-Mustafa (Love of Prophet Muhammad SAWAW) and used to say that these two things will take you to the Jannat (Heaven). Even today, the focus is the same. Hazrat Sajjada Nasheen named all the Mahafil for his followers as “MEHFIL-E-TAUHEED O MILAAD-E-MUSTAFA” and use to give preach Tauheed and Hubb-e-Mustafa (Love of Mustafa SAWAW) to people. May Allah gives him the life of Khizer (AS).

The idea of creating this group was in my mind since I’ve joined the facebook and created the group of Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA) named “Ash-Shaikh As-Syed Abdul Qadir Jillani Shaean Lillah, Mehboob e Subhani”. The link to the group is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4793897751

I was reluctant to create this group because there is nothing about Hazrat Mehbob-e-Zaat (RA) or Mundair Sharif Syedan in English language. I do not know why, but this idea came into my mind that why shouldn’t I write in English. Although I cannot give the translations of the books but at least I can give the introduction. I have given a brief introduction about Mundair Sharif Syedan and the Astana Aliya Mundair Sharif Syedan. I’ll be publishing in both languages: Urdu and English.

Today I have created a group named “Darbar-e-Aliya Qadriya Mundair Sharif Syedan” at facebook. The link is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=260526347125

May Allah Guide us all to the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem) and Bestows upon us all the Hidden from His Knowledge.

Wa-s Salam o Alaikom,

Sahibzada Syed Sharukh Kamal Gilani

Mundair Sharif Syedan,

Sialkot.
